Selling nearly 700 copies of the debut self-titled EP, Return To Self has been hard at work with producer Rob Dennis finishing up the second release titled"Suffocate the Fear". The band also teamed up with director Mark McIndoo to shoot footage for several music videos which will be released throughout the year. There are big plans in the books for Return To Self for 2006. Having already shared the stage with such major acts as Taproot, Dark New Day, Soil, Apex Theory, 10 Years, [minus.driver], Presence, Flyleaf, Velvet Revolver, and more; the band states it's time to continue with bigger shows, bigger albums, bigger videos, etc.

Return To Self is a band that has beat the odds from “Day 1”. RTS can be best described as a commercial, energetic, hard rock group whose unique sound is turning heads throughout the South. Stemming from Nashville Tennessee, the band has had their work cut out for them trying to bring hard rock mainstream to such a country-driven industry. Using their talents and knowledge, they are determined to become one of the first rock bands to come out of this country music mecca.

Before the band’s recent name and line-up changes, one could find this group of musicians hitting every stage in the Mid-South area, covering such cities as Nashville, Murfreesboro, Knoxville, Louisville, Atlanta, Memphis, and the like. Building a solid fan base and drawing crowds of 400 plus, this group has been paying their fair share of dues. Airplay on several regional rock radio stations, several independent releases, and filling some of Nashville’s largest venues has helped get them to where they are today.

RTS boasts a stunning line up of five musicians consisting of very diverse backgrounds. Golden Hunt, the band’s bass player, brings rhythmic style drawing from 8 years of drum corp. Neal Davis, another drum corp veteran, brings his precise drum and percussion chops to the line-up. Together, they form an undeniably intricate and groove-based rhythm section. Todd Fullford’s passion for guitar gods and early hard rock/metal bands pours out through his fingers. Dante and Brett Moyer, two brothers who have been sharing music since children, round out the line-up on guitar and lead vocals, respectively. Dante’s sound encompasses what is found in most modern rock today,
yet is immediately distinct and identifiable. Brett relates his classically trained voice arising from choirs, show bands, and plays, with his aggression and passions for life experiences. Combine all of these elements and you find something unique, yet marketable, as RTS understands the need for commercial appeal.

Return To Self as it’s current entity was announced in the start of 2003.
There is a bit of history of how this band got back to where they are now. Brought together in early 1996, Todd and his best friends, the Moyers, began their quest for music fulfillment. After playing together and getting their feet wet as a gigging band for two years, the three parted ways in 1998. Moving on to find different music adventures, the Moyer brothers picked up Neal and Golden to form a successful hard rock band in 2000. While Todd was
exploring his own successful music endeavors, he often found his band sharing shows with his Moyer companions. Eventually, it just seemed right to be back together, to be back to their roots.

With the group reunited in 2003, the band decided to change the name and redefine their goals, plans, and direction, both in the music and business sense. In more ways than just their sound, this band is different from most; they have a strong knowledge of the mysterious music business. Three of the members boast a B.S. degree in Mass Communication/Recording Industry from the acclaimed Middle Tennessee State University Recording Industry program. These guys have a firm grasp on many of the inner-workings of the business, which allows them to handle themselves professionally in many situations. The necessary knowledge they’ve gained has also allowed them to
form a strong business plan, pointing them in the right directions of their
musical and personal goals.

RTS prides themselves on their live performance. Huge guitar sounds, intricate riffs, with precise drumming and rhythms, stunning harmonies provided by bassist Golden, and intense vocals with ear catching melodies all cometogether on stage in one huge, massively energetic stage show. Grounded in well-written songs, their stage show is second to none, something you must see to fully experience what Return To Self truly is.

Return To Self is the sound of tomorrow’s rock generation. The group appeals to a wide spectrum of listeners while lyrically remaining true to what feels natural to them. Picking up label interest from New York to L.A. as they go, they are a force to be reckoned with, and you should expect to see them in a city or on a radio station near you in the near future.
