Since their formation in 2003 20 Saw You Die, formally known as Deadlock, have become known worldwide as one of the forerunners of the Tennessee metal scene. Many changes have been made to their style in order to achieve the most professional sound possible. 20 Saw You Die combines the dark ominous sounds of band like Samhain, and Avenge Sevenfold with the precision and aggression of Kill Switch Engaged and Lamb of God. 20 Saw You Die has also been described as AFI meets Six Feet Under, but just to put it simple, 20 Saw You Die is just a metal band. The band leaves it to the fans and critics to decide what label to brand them with.

The two and a half years of their existence have proven to be a continuous assault on the masses of metal fans in their home city of Dickson Tennessee and throughout a better part of the southern and mid-western US. Having played in well over 200 hundred show including 2004's Milwaukee's Metal Fest, 20 Saw You Die have become an incredibly tight and punishing live act. Their on stage persona is recognized throughout the region as menacing, aggressive, and ferocity. Everything from Grim's roaring vocal delivery to Nick's Haunting clean vocals to the twisted harmony laced guitar sections has characterized 20 Saw You Die's performance as something to be experienced. They have headlined most of their own shows, but have also been well received as an opening act for top bands in the scene such as The Misfits, Six Feet Under, The Red Chords, Into The Mote, The Black Dahlia Murders, Death Angel, and the Heavils just to name a few. The demand for 20 Saw You Die has increased tremendously and with each gig performed, a new legion of fans are gained.

20 Saw You Die is no stranger to the studio either. After releasing an array of successful demos including 2003's Hateworks and The Second Coming, not to mention 2004 they also released a full-length cd Primitive Murder System along with the DVD Primitive Live Murders. Metal fans nations wide and abroad have been able to witness their power. Combined, these releases have sold an excess of 3000 copies and the mail orders continue to come in. The sound quality and professional productions have become another positive aspect associate with the 20 Saw You Die name. No expense is spared when it comes to achieve the best possible sound available.

The band is currently working on their new cd entitled "The Dreams of Tomorrow Die Today" and have already completed two tracks for the upcoming Misfits tribute cd in which the proceeds go to the West Memphis 3. Along with all this they're working on two movie soundtracks. The soon to be B-horror classic Come Get Some More and Troma's Poltergeist.

The ground works have been laid and the explosion known as 20 Saw You Die is set to detonate, fans are waiting the world over for their next release. The only thing missing at this point is a good label with the promotional tools necessary to push them over the edge where they belong. This band has the ability to sell and commitment to tour as they have already proven on their own. A nice push from those who hold the power would only accelerate this well-known band into echelons of the elite.
